Subject:MSVCRT.DLL Error when Converting Disk-Based to Loops
Posted by: pgde2

I just purchased ACID Hip Hop 2.0 and just recently when I create my own WAV
I would encounter the following error message when I would convert the
Disk-Based WAV to a "Loop" or "One Off" and then my PC would crash:

*******************************************************
Sfacid has caused an error in MSVCRT.DLL Sfacid will now close.
If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer.
*******************************************************

I have restarted my computer but with no success.

Can you please help? This happens for big and small WAV files that I've created. This product seems to be the best so far when it comes to mixing.

Thanks
DE LEON

Try the usual general troubleshooting steps, like closing all background apps before opening ACID (done with ctrl+alt+delete and ending task on all except Explorer and Systray). Also, make sure you have the latest version of ACID 2 (which is 2.0d).

How much RAM do you have? How fresh is your install of Windows?

You should also consider e-mailing Tech Support.
