PLEASE HELP ME!! Can I convert a .cda file to an .acd file? I want take an instrumental that I have, and be able to add vocals to it in my ACID software..is this possible? Has anyone done it before, and how do you do it? Thanks in advance Todd |

.cda is not an actual file format. It is a virtual file used by windows to represent that track on an audio CD. You could use Acid 3.0 (or another program capable of digital audio extraction) to extract the track from the CD to your hard drive as a WAV file so you can work on it, or you could play the CD back in your CD-ROM drive while simultaneously recording it into Acid.
