Recording on same take, and some other tidbits...... -ACID Product Family

Or do you have to hit record again and then sing. I am using acid 3.0. Also my buffers seem to be underunning when i try to directly record to cd from acid. Is this my computers fault? I have to record to a wave and then make the cd. Is there a better way to get sound (like 24 bit) out of a wave file?? Is it just me or does microsoft suck? Is sonicfoundry perfect audio a better way to record to hard disk? Oh yeah and how do you fade a song at the end, or in the begining, is that called paning? When your done the takes will be stacked in the same track space, right click the wave form to get options and select different takes. Hello,
