Can anybody please tell me a way that I can filter profanity in songs via MP3, WAV, Realaudio? I love playing music, but I don't like the bad language nor do I think it is necessary. I'm hoping there is a software out there that would let me do that. Thanks in advanced |

The level of speech recognition required to do profanity filtering in *any* song is not currently withiin the scope of audio software technology. We do not produce anything that would be able to meet your needs, nor can I think of a company that could. Our software is fully capable of helping you edit out the offending words through bleeps/fades/eq/etc, but words would have to be located manually. |

That's great! I could live with the bleeps, fades or whatever you have. Which product has that feature? |

Try either Sound Forge 5 here or Sound Forge XP Studio 5 here. NOTE: Both links will open a new browser window. Sound Forge XP is probably your best bet, since all you want to do is edit out the profanity. (That and it's cheaper.) :) HTH, Iacobus |
