Subject:Can't open Quicktime files

Hi,
I am trying to open a Quicktime file in ACID so I can do audio to video. I get a box that says"The Sonic Foundry Quick Time plug in was not able to initalize the QuickTime components on your system. It appears that Quick Time is not installed"

I have the full version of Quick Time 5.

system:
Windows 2000 pro
MSI Dual MOBO with dual 866 PIII chips
1gig ram
Ultra Wide 2 LVD drives (all SCSI)

Hello,

Try reinstalling Quicktime, and do custom install, and make sure Authoring is selected. It's needed to function with Acid.
