Subject:Two Audio Cards

Hey Whats Up?

Does anybody know if I can synchronize a Delta Dio 24/96, and a Audiophile together, either through the computer internally, or by running the spdif out of one card into the other, and setting one card to sync to spdif input clock, and the other to internal clock.

My main goal is to be able to rocord inputs from both cards in sync, without drifting, and be able to playback the same way.
For Vegas 2.0, Acid 3.0, and some Cakewalk software.
I do have the Delta Mixer installed, but it doesn't seem to allow me to synchronize the two cards together.

Thanks for any help.
Sincerely, Rockit

The way I understood it from the Audiophile manual on pp. 12 and 21, you should be able to do something like setting the Audiophile to S/PDIF In (under the Hardware settings tab) and the DiO to master clock or vice versa.

Did you see Midiman's (M-Audio) new site?

Hello Doc,

Yeah I've read both of the manuals that came with the two cards, And it seems like it could work, I just wanted to be sure so I don't damage the cards. I've E-Mailed the support dept. at M-Audio twice and have not recieved a responce yet, And yes I did see the new web site, and I like it , It's better to navigate through.
If anyone has ever tried to do a combination like this please give your input Thanks, Rockit

And thanks for your help MD, See ya
