Subject:Recording while play track

I opened a track I want to record ontop of. But everytime I press record it doesnt keep playing the track it stops. Is there away that I can set up my sound where I can hear while its recording, if anyone can help please repost or email me at the42raven@aol.com

You cannot start recording in Acid on the fly. Instead, locate a point in the project a bit before you want to start playing/singing/speaking/etc, then click the Record button. In the Record dialog box that opens, specify that you wish to start recording from Position. You can also manually specify the measure and beat you wish to begin at.
