Ok. Ive checked the forums on this, the closest thing was the fx plugins not being registered but sure enough they are registered and in the registry that way. Im still getting beeps and wierd sound showing up in my songs and it is really pissing me off. I emailed the support team months ago and NEVER got a reply which is just wrong, I didnt get my guarenteed 60 day support. So now I have to turn to the forums and I hope some one here will have some idea what this can be, becuase if I cant get rid of it, then all my projects from the past are hosed for good and I will have to re-write them. PLEASE some one help. Thanks. |

Hello, Which version do you have, and what kind of sound card, and some info on your computer would be helpful as well, and also do you have any other Direct X plugs from other companies? See ya, Rockit |

P.S. The reason I suspect it to be plugins is becuase rendering them to mp3 or wav will generate those beeps as well in the output file. |

Actually, looking at a couple other songs, they dont even have sfx, the most they have (in fact one im looking at now i should use as an example) ONLY has a volume on it. No FX used at all in this thing. |

Hello again, If you have Acid Pro 3.0 then you have all the plugs XFX 1,2,and 3, But you said you have a song that has beeps without using any plug-ins, I would suspect that maybe your buffer might need adjusting. Have you ever tried reinstalling? You can also use add remove in windows control panel and select to remove Acid then it will give you an option to do a repair install. So try a couple of these things and let me know. See ya, Rockit |

Nope. I tried repair. That didnt work, so I tried a clean reinstall of it. Another thing to note that may help. Most all of these (possibly not all, but it looks like it is the case) are all made originally in the 2.0 version. Ever since I had upgraded to 3.0 and gone through all the way to 3.0c it has had this problem, but not before 3.0. Also my buffer was tested. I set it to 1 (god that was horrid haha) then 40 50 60 and 100. No change. Still sounds like some kind of "beep" "blop" and its to the beats. Its really wierd and annoying. |

OK!!!! It was plugins ARG. For some reason I had to go through this grooling process of getting brand new activation codes for my plugins. But the stupid beeps are gone. Thanks a ton for at least trying to help. Its mucho appreciated. I was determined to figure this out finally and I did. |
