in using vegas, i discovered it to be a memory hog. just by opening then closing, it took (and left) 60+ mb of ram. so i downloaded acid xpress and same thing. anyone else experience this too? i'm using w2k sp2 with all the latest sf patches.

I sugest you go pickup the free MaxMemory app found on www.analogx.com . It's worth it, and I use it frequently with Win2k. That would be the perfect solution to you memory problem.

thanx for the tip. just tried it but didn't seem to to work. lot's of goodies on the website though :)

Works for me... You install it, open it... When the gage is in the red. You click on the icon in the task bar... it free's memory... do it as often as you want!!!
