AP3 Midi Voice Program Select -ACID Product Family

Subject:AP3 Midi Voice Program Select Posted by: ctbarker32 Date:10/23/2001 9:53:29 PM I think there's a bug in AP3 when using the Midi Voice Select dialog for a MIDI track and the GS 16 bit Synth (ie the MS Directx synth). I consistently find I cannot select anything but none and the default piano sound with this combination. If I select another patch I sometimes get the sound but often do not. When I save the AP3 file and then reload anything other than the default piano sound settings are lost despite saving the track settings, etc. I feel the MIDI features in AP3 are bit squirelly to say the least. Please set me wrong if I'm missing something. Thanks. -CB

When I stop it the sound goes back to the default grand piano. If you find a solution to this problem let me know. Thanks
