Subject:Midi problems

I have in the recent past recorded midi piano parts successfully. At that time I was using a Live Value Card. I have since upgraded to the audigy card. Now when i record midi - it plays back horribly out of time! Any help?

Oh, my system:
Celeron 600 mhz
128 meg ram soon to be 512
windows 98se
