Subject:WinXP + Acid 3.0c - Selected items 'waveform' dissapears

xp pro final (2600), all updates
GeForce2Pro + 21.88 driver
via/amd

Whenever I select a peice of a track, the 'wave' picture of the track dissapears which makes editing difficult.

Anyone else seen this? Any advice.
