Has anyone been using 2000pro with stable drivers as of late. I'm going to be switching in the near future and would like a heads up before I do.Later. |

win2k stability depends mostly on if the drivers for your soundcard work well with it. ask around on forums for the card you have. acid 3 in and of itself works great under 2k in my experience, especially the most recent build. i'm using a gina24 from echo with their beta drivers and those work pretty well. most of the crashes i've had were related to specific dx plugins not playing nice. |

Thats funny because I use a echo layla 20bit and I was worried that when I upgraded soon that I wouldn't know what to blame if I had a problem...the OS or the drivers. I heard from a tech that next week we should see another beta come out. If what you are saying is true then I feel its time to upgrade. I've heard of some very good results from their beta drivers as of late. Any other opinions? |
