Subject:Rendering crashes system - unknown cause

Running PIII 850 128RAM SFACID 3
System freezes while trying to render to any
format.
I think the problem is in memory usage, as the
pagefile all but vanishes in seconds when rendering.

Any thoughts on the subject out there?

i get the same i took a project made on acid 2.0
to a studio that had installed 3.0 and even rendering
a 1 bar loop after editing caused crashes so i had
to go home and bring in my computer to the studio
also the above song indeed anythat we tried gave us a time out error when trying to solo any track with more than 4 plugins running in a song back to 2.0 me thinks!
