can you sync an adat to acid pro to recored on tape and acid , or play the tape back and add to it with acid?

I don't know about the first half of your question, but for the second half, Alesis makes an interface that lets one record an ADAT to your PC:

From what I saw on the site, you can either record the ADAT independently into something like WAV format or use another program to record the ADAT. Not too sure as I'm not expert on this issue.

yeah thanks i'm not sure what to do i know it can be done but sonic foundry didnt email me back yet
