Don't know if anybody noticed, but official DirectX 8.1 is now available. Get it here.

Hello, Does that mean that the other one wasn't official? :} Also did you see on the Direct X site that Direct X 9 is in the works and in Beta testing?

Well maybe it was 8.0a that I had installed. But anyway, I'm going to go get it, Do you know if I have to reinstall the Video update again or just the 8.1 update?

I don't think you need to install the DV update again with 8.1.

I did see the DX 9 beta. Very interesting. 8.1 was in beta for a while. Actually, I meant to say that 8.1 was now being officially supported by Microsoft. :)
