Subject:Loops vs. Samples

Recently I've found this site which has a hugh library of samples for downloading. I've never used samples or loops in any of my music, but I'm very interested in doing so (experimenting). The samples are all wav files by the way. So my question is can I work samples the same way as loops using Acid Music 3.0. Or in other words is this program made for handling samples too?

If you plan on using them as one-shots, there shouldn't be a problem. However, if you plan on looping them, there MIGHT be some editing that needs to be done for them to loop properly.
Another thing, check the quality of the samples, because sometimes they have a lower audio quality than purchased loops.

To add to what MyST said, be aware that ACID Pro is the only version of ACID that can accept loops/samples with bit depths higher than 16-bit and sample rates higher than 48kHz. I believe samples/loops higher than those properties are somewhat hard to find (especially on the Web), but just wanted to let you know...
