Subject:ACID waveform display is condensed

i've used sound forge a bit and started playing with ACID recently, and have gotten rather annoyed with the following problem-- The waveform display for any given track isn't anywhere near in step with the actual time. For example, a 5 minute wav file would appear, according to its waveform, to be about 10 seconds long, even though it plays correctly. I can't seem to get the waveform to match the actual time, so that i can line up my tracks and loops on certain beats easier and more precisely. This problem exists in both the explorer window and the main window with all the tracks. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and how to fix it? |

Hmmmm. That doesn't sound like what i've seen. When i import .wav files that aren't loops (one-shots), i can paint them on the timeline and they show the full length. Can you take a screen shot to show us what you see? If you want to eMail the .jpg file to me ... thebigcheese@chienworks.com ... i can post it on my website so we can all see it. |
