Simple question... I'm a little confused. When I use Acid2.0 I sometimes draw envelopes to turn an effect on. i.e. Draw an envelope for FX1 starting at -inf and going to 0.0 db, while at the same time turning the volume from 0.0db to -inf. Thereby eliminating the original sound source and only playing the FX channel. However in Acid3.0 when I do this, I sweep the FX in but when I fade the volume out, the whole sound fades out. I want to play the effects without playing the original so I can simulate high pass knob tweaks and such. Example -> Volume fade from full to off, while highpass fade from off to full... it sounds like im running it through a filter and twisting a knob, but now when I fade the volume out, I get no signal, like the effect is run through the volume slider, anyway I can get this nifty trick back? I'm a little confused on this, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks. |

Hello, Right click the track slider and select Post or Pre Volume respectively to make the effects bypass the track volume slider, and this will stop the bleedthrough. See ya, Rockit |
