I made a 76minute track and would like to know if there is a easy way of splitting it into tracks? I highlighted a segment and then saved the segment as a track and so forth. Can I make AcidPro save tracks based on the placement of markers? Help!! |

You could render the whole track and then bring it into Sound Forge XP (if you don't have the full version Sound Forge, ACID Pro 2 and 3 both come with Sound Forge XP) and split it up that way. Render with the markers in your project in ACID, open it up in Sound Forge, double-click within the area between markers, use CTRL+C to copy and then CTRL+E to paste into another window. Save in preferred format. Rinse and repeat. :) HTH, Iacobus |

I failed to mention in my last post you should then be able to bring your cut-up tracks back into ACID and line them up. Duh. Shame on me. :) I should also mention it'd probably be a good idea if snapping is on while placing markers before rendering and bringing the resulting file into Sound Forge, so that those cut-up tracks will line up in the same manner when brought back into ACID. Thanks. It would be good if you could just split tracks via placement of markers. So much easier and efficient. |

I would definitely contact SF concerning future suggestions for ACID. Sounds like a great idea. Fill out a product suggestion to SF here. HTH, Iacobus |
