I'm not sure about the Fasoft plug-ins, but isn't the n-Track plug-in program specific? (In other words, the n-Track plug-in is meant only for n-Track Studio?)

ACID Pro should detect your installed DirectX plug-ins automatically for you. You shouldn't have to do anything outside of just installing the plug-in via its installer.

Are you referring to the "Sonic Foundry Setup" folder for the compressed files? This is the default folder used for setup when installing ACID. It's where the program's setup files are located.

Try using the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs applet to repair your installation of ACID Pro (if corrupt or damaged).

Yes it's the sonic setup folder. Shouldn't those files be unzipped somewhere in the same folder? I unzipped a couple and the files that showed up, weren't there before? So, this is what confuses me? Wouldn't these unzipped files be in the same folder if they had been unzipped during installation?

Has anyone else encountered these plugins not working?
Is it corrupted?

Sincerely

Unfortunately, if another "plug-in" (like Creative Lab's own Oozic) uses DirectX, it'll show up in the list, even it isn't audio-specific.

The Fasoft and n-Track plug-ins should have their own "setup.exe" files for installation. That or specific instructions for installation but it's usually the former.

You don't have to necessarily place the "Sonic Foundry Setup" folder in the same folder where ACID is installed. I have mine placed alongside the main "Sonic Foundry" folder, i.e., "D:\Applications\Sonic Foundry" and "D:\Applications\Sonic Foundry Setup" (I have hard drive partitions if you're wondering.)

I'm pretty sure that the n-Track plug-in is meant for n-Track Studio and not any other program like ACID. I couldn't see on Fasoft's Web site whether or not n-Track was available as a plug-in other than n-Track Studio, which has DirectX plug-in support itself. Note sure about the Fasoft plug-ins though. They could very well be either corrupt or not installed properly.

Iacobus
