Subject:Sound Forge 7.0

Whenever I try to extract audio from any audio cd, Sound Forge locks up and freezes. I have to open the cd drive to stop Sound Forge from freezing up. I really like the feature of extracting audio/wave files from cds and had no problems like this on my previous computer using Sound Forge. Do you have any suggestions? I am using Windows 7 - 64 bit
