Subject:How do I record slaved to another device?

Hi;

I can playback with ACID slaved to my Roland 1680 but when I try to record a track from the Roland into ACID with Roland as Master and ACID as slave it doesn't work. As soon as I hit the record button ACID doesn't seem to be following the Roland. It records, just not locked to the right time.

How do I get ACID to record locked to an external device?

I hope I described the problem clearly. Thanks for your help.

Have you tried just recording your Roland right into ACID (audio or MIDI)?
