Subject:Help configuring Acid Pro 3.0 with RT 323

I am having trouble getting my Drum machine to work with Acid Pro 3.0. I have a Zoom RT323 and Fastlane usb Midi connector. I also have a Turtle Beach Santa Cruz sound card and Windows XP Pro. I cant seem to get the program to recognize the drum machine. Perhaps someone can enlighten this "noob" on the procedures. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Does the drum machine connect with both USB and Midi,
And do you see your USB device listed in the Device Manager in Windows?

Let us know, Rockit

The machine connects via Midi, and yes I do see the usb and midi in my device manager. No conflicts, they are working properly.

Ive got it working now, however when I record midi the actual sounds are different than the ones from my drum machine. For instance one of the bass lines sounds like Pianos when I play it through Acid. Or the actual Drum kits gets changed when its played through Acid. Any suggestions???

Hello again,

Double click the track Icon that you're recording into to bring up track properties for that track, then select Voices, you can select your midi port there and use other "dls" sound banks as well.

Good Luck, Rockit
