Subject:NOISE IN PLAYBACK

When I am recording live tracks they sound clean, but when I play tracks back after they are recorded they are very noisey (mostly high pitched noise and white noise). Does anyone have any suggestions for me to troubleshoot this problem? I've tried different devices (different amps, keyboards, mics, cables,etc.) Is this a soundcard issue or a software issue- or am I supposed to be using some kind of filter?

hmmmmmm.... simalr issues i have excpept not as bad. probably ur sound card. what are u using as a soundcard. also if u pluged it in on mic in and not line in u may get tons of noise on bad sound card. if u want from morpheus and kaZaA, u can download the noise reduction plug-in. later
