Subject:SF9: Sustained Loop Set & Saved, But Not Working

I've used SF9 to create sustained loops in .wav files for use in Flight Simulator X, but for some reason that I can't fathom out, I can now no longer get them to play looped in the sim!

The loop settings are saving (metadata box checked on both 'Save' & 'Save as' and the sustained loop settings are there when I open the files), but for some reason, the loops do not play in the sim as they should.

I can't think of anything I did differently the last time I saved a file with a sustained loop in (it worked), but to use the pun, it's driving me loopy!

If I substitute one of the default .wavs with a sustained loop, it works fine, or if I save an existing one using 'Save' or Save as', again it appears to work fine.

A bit stumped on as to why this might be happening when the sustained loop settings are retained.

I've compared the files in question to the ones that work, and everything appears to be the same in terms of the sustained loop settings.

Been wondering if I've missed something simple, but cannot think of anything at the moment.

Cheers

Paul
