Subject:Bug with Event Properties window

Try the following :

Open a new project, insert an audio track. In the chopper, select a portion of the sound and insert it into the track.
Now, right click on that event and select the "properties" option. The "Event properties" window is displayed but the original start offset is not kept : it's initialized to a wrong value. You can see that in the waveform display.
In my example, the exact start offset for the event is 39 492 but 39 is displayed. I tried some examples and it seems that the other digits are dropped (maybe due to the blank character as thousand separator ?).
This problem does not occur when the "Event properties" window is already visible. The problem happens only when this window has to be created.
I think it's a bug SF should fix.
Another idea ?

I've tried replicating this problem, but have not had success in doing so. Tried both adding a selection from the Chopper with and without the event properties window open. I get the same results with the start offset being accurate. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling ACID Pro 3?

I think I have found what's wrong.
The problem I reported occurs when the thousand separator is defined as a blank character in the Windows regional settings (format for numbers).
I tried to change it to a comma, restarted Acid and everything's OK.
Anyway, I think it's a minor bug that SF should fix; I mean, processing the blank separator correctly.
(I'm using Win98 SE).

See you later !
