Hi guys,

Just wanted to know how I go about recording audio with the loops?

Hit the candy-like record button and fire away. ;)

Seriously, it all depends on what you want to record, and how you go about actually hooking everything up. See Chapter 6 in the ACID manual available online for more info.

Remember before you get frustrated and encounter trashed audio and sync problems: Sonic Foundry does not consider Acid a "multitrack audio" app. Therefore, depending on your setup, you may only be able to record just a few short audio "One Shot" segments before things get wanky, or none. Acid doesn't give you unlimited "audio tracks" the way other apps do. Try to keep your "One Shot" audio as short as possible. For instance, try to record a guitar verse and reuse it as a loop/one shot. Same with vocals. Don't just overdub over your whole song the way you would in the multitrack world. This makes Acid very unhappy. And then Acid will make you unhappy.
