Subject:Rendered with MIDI Tracks

I am trying to render a project with MIDI tracks to wav or mp3 but the MIDI tracks do not show up in the wav or mp3. I followed the instructions in the help and set the MIDI playback to master. However when I am in ACID and have the MIDI playback set to master I do not hear anything. Maybe that has something to do with it? If anyone could tell me what to do that would be great. I think it could have something to do with the DLS's or something but I could be totally wrong. Thanks again.

If you don't hear it on playback routed to the Master bus, then you wont hear it rendered either.

What is the MIDI file created for?
Is it for an external hardware synth?
What are the voicings you are using?
Did you record it or was it something that existed and you just placed it into a ACID project?

I am using the MIDI Track as the drumtrack in a project. I created it using the XG-909 drum machine. I tried another MIDI file and it work playing using the master setting. So I guess the problem is the MIDI file created using the drum machine. Any clue why that wouldn't work in ACID?

The XG-909 (Who makes it?) is probably using non General MIDI voicings on its track.

Look at the MIDI track properties and see how the MIDI track(s) are assigned to different channel(s).

ACID Plays internally through the Microsoft Softsynth. It is a DLS GM voice set by default. If you use a MIDI file that is NOT GM compatible, then it will not play as intended in most cases. You must either change the channel and voice assignments in ACID for the MIDI track in order for you to hear things correctly, if anything at all.
