I have a P!!! 866 with 256 Ram, 40 gig hd running windows 2000 server. I open up acid and use the program for a few minutes or so and it will inevitably crash on me. Just freezes up until Windows shuts it down. There doesn't seem to be any certain pattern that triggers this. I thought I had it traced to a particular plug in, the anvida soft reverb, but disabling this only got me a bit further along. I did find the crashes to be less frequent with less tracks - but at the most I've only been running 4 tracks with just a few plugins. Any help or questions would be really helpful. Thanks. |

Hello, Windows 200 Server????????????? Why don't you try using a Windows thats more Multi media friendly, Windows 2000 Server was not meant to be a personal OS. Other than that did you try reinstalling Acid and uninstalling 3rd party plug-ins untill you get Acid running good? Try that and also Did you contact SF tech support? They might be able to help better. See ya, Rockit |
