It's that way on almost all audio CD's. If you want to be able to bend the rules slightly and not have the 2 second gaps, you'll need to first render your songs to 44.1kHz, 16 bit, stereo WAV files, and then use a program that supports Disc-At-Once (DAO) burning. Acid only does Track-At-Once (TAO) burning (which creates a mandatory 2 second gap). Vegas Video 3 and CD Architect 4 (a discontinued SoFo app) both support DAO burning. Acid may support DAO in the future, but it's not known at this time. Hope this helps, Nick LaMartina
