Subject:Problem with Sound Forge detecting Internet Explorer

I have downloaded 3 different trail versions of Sound Forge, but when I go to install them they all gave me the error message that the program needed Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher. I have Internet Explorer 6.0

Maybe you should try doing a repair on IE. That will usually reset missing or corrupt registry keys that the SF installer doesn't see. Go to Control Panel --> Add/Remove Programs --> Internet Explorer 6.0 and Internet Tools then click add/remove. This will give you the option of removing or repairing IE. Select Repair and let it do it's thing. It will need to reboot when finished, so make sure all programs are closed before doing this. Then try reinstalling SF. Hope this helps.
