Envelopes not locked to events for INSERT->TIME

Hey gang-
Aside from a couple other small recurring issues, I've noticed that even though I lock audio evelopes to events, if I use the command INSERT>TIME, the audio envelopes do not move with the events.

This is very frustrating, as it means that I have to manually move all the events to make changes.

I have to use the multiple event selection tool, make space, perform my edits, then manually move every event over.

Is there any way to make the envelope points lock to the events in all circumstances?

Huh, never noticed the Insert:Time command before. It absolutely works the way you described, even with ripple active.

The way I do (what I assume you want to do) is to create an empty event the length of time I want to insert, then cut & paste it (with ripple & Lock Envelopes to Events both active) in front of the events I want to move. Envelopes, events, etc all ripple this way.

You could even simplify this by just dragging events the amount of time you want to insert (with Ripple & Lock Envelopes active), and use the little time box thingy that pops up above the events to get an exact time amount.

You could use Timeline Tools to reposition your envelope points with just a few clicks of your mouse. The Track Extra Tab has selections for Tracks and Envelopes. Select the Envelope of interest, then select all the points of interest. Click on the track where you want the block of points to be moved and then press the Shift Left / Right button. This is explained in the Users Guide

Thanks for the help. I guess I'll add it to the feature request. I think just sliding the events with ripple will be easier than adding another command to the process.

Too bad, I LOVE me some INSERT>TIME. I even have it mapped to SHIFT INSERT,
