Can anyone reccomend a good midi editing program to use with Acid? I have Cubase, Logic, and Nuendo and none of them are really compatible. Does Sonic Foundry have any Midi editing products? |

Hello, You can download two programs for free, Fruity Loops from fruityloops.com, and Microsoft Direct Music Producer from Microsoft Download site. Both of these programs I use to edit Midi. Then you have to import it back into acid. There is no easy way to edit Midi inside of Acid. See ya, Rockit |

I use Home Studio 2002 wich is like a very cheap cut-down version of Sonar, but you still get unlimited midi/audio-tracks plus it supports Acid loops (and is even a bit better when running these at extreme tempo deviations). Home Studio has several ways of dealing with midi manipulatons; piano roll, edit lists, note score. |
