i use acid 3.O and have a 600mhz dell with 510megs of ram and a 40gig maxtor. whenever i cut or boost using any track EQ's i recieve a clicking noise. when i put the settings back to normal(or bypass) it goes away. i've tried to raise the buffer but it hasn't fixed the problem. is this a BUG or a processor problem??? PLEASE HELP!!!! |

It'd be helpful to know some more specifics of your system, and the project. Is the processor a celeron, p3, or AMD? Also, what OS, and what soundcard and video card are you using? How many tracks do you have playing back at once? Are you able to use the XFX EQ's in the Assignable FX without clicking? How about using XFX EQ's on a track? What do the clicks sound like, and how frequent are they? If you go to start/programs/accessories/system tools/system monitor, what is your CPU usage at with/without the track EQ? Are you playing any MIDI tracks? Do you have Aux (in addition to the master) activated? What is the original material you're playing? Are these loops, one-shots, or beatmapped files? Are they .wav, .mp3, or other? With some answers to the above, we'll hopefully be able to get to what's causing this. HTH, Joel |
