Subject:Acid Techno for Acid Pro?

I am confused by the style-specific versions of the Acid software. If you already own Acid Pro, does it make sense to buy Acid Techno 3.0 or Acid DJ 3.0? Do these programs have special features not present in Pro that are specific for their respective genres of music?

I would think they are just light versions so the Acid software, and that they come bundled with genre-specific loops -- but I cannot find the same stand-alone loop content for purchase, and it doesn't make sense to just buy the extra software. Can someone clear up my confusion? What exactly are these programs and can I implement their content with Pro?

Acid Pro is the most full-featured version of Acid available, and all of the other versions are "lite" by comparison. Loops from any Acid program can be used with any other Acid program.

It's kind of a well kept secret that ACID DJ and ACID Techno are one of our least expensive Loops for ACID libraries. If you look at the number of loops that come with those programs, it's really a full Loops for ACID library. So even an ACID PRO user might want to buy ACID Techno and ACID DJ. Just toss the app (or give it to a friend), and keep the loops.

Check out the sample loops and see if they're up your alley. ACID DJ | ACID Techno.
