Subject:Acid Pro 3.0 not recording from computer mic...

I didn't have this problem but my budy recently got Acid Pro 3.0 and has been trying to record from his computer mic into Acid but it's not recording anything. We know it's going into the computer since it's coming out his speakers but nothing is getting recorded. Is there an option somewhere that has to be selected to record from a typical pc mic connection? I'm not sure of which sound card he has though I do know it's just a typical desktop configuration. Many thanks for any assistance. |

okay its pretty simple in windoes i think. i've got a SoundBlaster card (like regular windoes card) so if u dont have a pro card this'll probly work. You go to the taskbar and double-click the speaker icon (or go into control pannel and go into "volume and media or w/e) then u go to options (on the tiltle bar) and select properties. when u get to the radio-buttons select "recording" and press ok. make sure the mic bolume is slected and turned up. this is wherer u select what to record from |
