Movie studio 13: Some 4k files import others don't

We bought a new iphone 6s plus the other day for 4k Video and I shot 3 files. One was about 5 minutes and one was about 12 minutes. The last one was about 25 minutes. The files are MOV format with some pretty extreme data rates I assume.

I tried pulling these into Movie Studio 13 and the only one that would pull in was the 5 minute one. It was less than 3 gigs in size. The other two were well over 4 gigs and I think the 25 minute one clocked in around 9 or so gigs.

Is there a size limitation on these? They all play in windows but I cannot edit them in MS 13. I get an error saying the media is corrupt or of a format that is not supported. It's very curious.

If anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears.

Thanks

Pretty sure you need Quicktime installed in order to edit some MOV files.

What's your system, 4k can stress even a fast setup?

I can easily use 4K stuff from my Panasonic Gx8 (long or short). It would probably take a very long time on a slow system to build a proxy for a 25m 4K high bit rate file.
