I have a few Smartsound audio palettes (about 7) from a company called Sonic Desktop and was curious if these files could be imported and used by either Acid Music or Acid Pro. These Smartsound files are loopable, but I don't know what file type they are since I don't have them with me right now. I'm sure it is some type of proprietary file but was hoping either Acid Music or Pro could import them. Has anyone tried this and/or know if it its possible?

I'm looking for a music creation program and would like to stick with a SF interface (Music or Pro) but still be able to use the content I've already purchased from another company. Thanks.

Many times, these loop libraries (regardless of company) are in .wav format. Any loop in a .wav format can be used with ACID, although they won't contain the stretching and pitch information. Those, however, are easily defined by the user.

Hope this helps!
