Windows 10 and Movie Studio Platinum 13.0...

Good morning...

I'm hoping to benefit from other users' experiences, before upgrading to Windows 10 from Windows 8.1. My Asus laptop is running Movie Studio Platinum 13.0, Build 955. The graphics processor is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M,..and this configuration has performed well, since I bought the machine in July 2014.

However, I have read about unresolved Windows 10 conflicts with MS 13.0 and NVIDIA graphics, often taking the form of failed renders. Upgrading to Windows 10 would be my preference...but if I need to stick with Windows 8.1, so be it.

I appreciate any feedback on this matter. Thank you!

I've got a GTX and I'm running Platinum 13 with no problems.

I did have to resintall the program after upgrading to Win 10 though. But, beyond that, no problems.

Steve, thanks for your reply. Assuming you had previously installed NewBlueFX plug-ins (including their Titler plug-in) was it also necessary for you to re-install those with your Windows 10 upgrade? Thanks again.

I don't remember having to reinstall them. But it was nearly a year ago, so i can't say for sure.
