Subject:My acid project won't open ,please help me

I recently changed my motherboard and processor from a pentium 2 to an AMD athlon XP1700.Since I did this certain acid projects I had will now not open.I get a message which reads Error Ox80004002(message missing). Can anyone tell me why this might be happening or even what it means.

We've seen this before when DirectX isn't properly installed, or if a user hasn't rebooted after installing. If you've done a number of things to your system, try reinstalling DirectX 8.0a or later, then reboot, and this error will hopefully be cleared up.
