hi i can not get into the folder that holds my acid project files.
all i get is the hourglass and then check to see that there no response.
it was slow before but
this has only started happening this serious today.

please help

I dunno if this will help or not, but if you have a CD in your CD drive, try ejecting it. Having a disc in the drive seems to really bog explorer down badly. I've found that it affects my system much worse if i have a disc in my hp cd-writer than it does if i have a disc in my Creative DVD drive. Go figger.

If that directory has a LOT of files in it, that could be what's causing the problem. ACID's explorer is not quite as efficient as the Windows explorer (needs to read the file properties in addition to the file name/type). For directories with a significant number of files in it, it may be better to drag and drop from the Windows explorer.
