Subject:Recording with Acid 2.0

When trying to record, how come when i press the start button to record, nothing shows up on the two volume bars on the left? Before the volume levels use to move up and down, now i dont get anything. I dont know what happened. If someone can help please send me an email Ballaz2@aol.com. I appreciate it. I can't record anymore.
