Is this time-streching or what...?????? -ACID Product Family

Subject:Is this time-streching or what...?????? Posted by: nymphfoe Date:3/25/2002 5:19:59 AM I'd like to put a complete song into Acid and then match it up to other loops that are there already. Imagine putting an acceplla into acid and then match it....How do I do this. I've put songs in but I can't get them to sync up..HELP!! Oh I'm using Acid 2.0

Does the "a cappella" track stay constant in tempo and time signature? A lot of music does not stay "tempo giusto" (in strict time) and can even change time signature mid-composition. Most of the time, you'll have to compensate for such changes and adjust the project accordingly. If the inserted track seems a little off at parts, you can try splitting the track by clicking on where you want the split to occur and then use "S" on your keyboard. You can then place that portion of the track wherever you want it to be. Iacobus
