No export-choice in my File menu. What is this? I'm a registered user (and bought Acid Rock 2.0 officially!). What did I do wrong? I'm stuck with nice recordings, because I'm not able to save them other than just playing them in Acid Rock? |

Choose Save As, and pick a different file type ... .wav .mp3 .wma ... etc. |

Thanks for the help. I appreciate, but also that doesn't give me .wav or .mp3, let alone exported Wav-tracks. What kind a version do I have? The box states very clear that I should be able to save to .wav, but unfortunately I can't..... Is there something wrong with the serial# Soundfoundry emailed me? |

Ummm...which version of ACID do you have? ACID Pro is the only version of ACID that gives you the ability to export loops via the File>Export Loops command on the menu bar. Take a look at the comparison chart by clicking here. Iacobus |

Pais, First off...there will be no .wav or .mp3 choices under Save As. You must choose Render As...make sure you have at least one track selected or the loop region set around at least one track... Also - I believe the "export as separate tracks" option is only availavle in Acid Pro (nor Acid Rock). Cheers, Cuzin B |

CuzinB: i might be wrong because i don't have Acid 2, but i was under the impression from reading other forum posts that "Render" was introduced in version 3. I thought previous versions used "Save As" instead. |

Hmmm... You may be right. I haven't had 2 installed for a long, long time. Ever in Version 2 I would still think that Save As would apply only to the project that is open...as in Save As-> MySong.acd. To send the project out to a mixed wave or mp3...I would look for a Export or render command... Cheers, Cuzin B |
