Hello All. I want to edit .cda files in Acid Pro but am unable to get Acid to accept them. Using Tools> Extract audio from CD>, shows my cd-rom and writer but no .cda files I have tried different CDs, etc to no avail. Cd's play fine in musicmatch, etc and do not seem corrupt I have used CR-R's and commercial CD's Help! If it helps, I originally recored these files with ACID and converted them to .cda Thanks, Johnny |

??? When you use the "Extract audio" function, ACID converts the CDA into a WAV before even inserting the track into your project. The same thing happens when you go to open a CDA file using the File>Open command on the menu bar. Are you trying to say that there are no CD tracks being listed in the extract audio function? And how (why?) did you convert the files to CDA? WAV is as uncompressed and pure an audio format as any. Iacobus |
