Subject:Newbie Needs help Quck! : intro before its downbeat

"If a track has an intro before its downbeat, the intro will not be included when you draw or paint events. Drag the left edge of the event to expose the intro."

What tool do I use to drag the event? I have tried everything short from dragging my computer out the window. I have the measure exaclty where I want them for the downbeat but I am clueless about exposing the intro.

LOL on the "dragging my computer out the window" comment.

Use the Draw Tool. (CTRL+D is the keyboard shortcut.) Hover the cursor over the edge at the beginning of the event. It should turn into a horizontal, double-headed arrow with a little box. Click and drag per the instructions.
