Subject:Recording problem...please help!

For some odd reason, when i go to record something, not only does it record what i play/sing, it also records whats playing in ACID as well!!

Whats the deal?

Open up the sound card's mixer control panel, click Options, Properties, Recording, OK. You probably have "Mixed Output", "What You Hear", or "PC Speaker" selected as the input. Select either Mic or Line instead.
