Subject:acid wont pick up my mic!!!

all of a sudden acid doesnt pick up sound from my mic when i try to record, but there is sound coming through the computer from the mic. how can i correct this?

The record source in Acid need to be set either to your soundcard's mic input or the soundcard's monitor (with the mic input's fader opened).
The record source is probably something else, maybe digital in..?
